A few weeks ago, I woke up in the middle of the night and I'd been having a vivid dream. I remember thinking, "I'd better write this down, because this is such a great story! Then, when I wake up, I can turn it into a novel, just like Stephenie Meyer did with Twilight! I'm going to be rich and famous!"

The world is ending, and Mary Fairy is telling the story of its end. The last story.

Except...

She's in love with a salesman. A salesman in a red tie. And it's just possible that her love for him could save the world.

Your ending sounds slightly more upbeat than the movie I dreamed recently where a gay man was retracing a trip he had taken through Europe with his now-dead lover. My movie ended with the protagonist committing suicide by jumping off a bridge.
