Reviews (and yet another year-end wrapup) up at the book blog. It was kind of a weird year for books!

Movies:Brave--Loved the main character and the idea but the plot was pretty boring--felt thin

Wow... I have been off LiveJournal, not reading or posting, for so long that I DID NOT KNOW you had a child. Apparently my LJ hiatus is toddler-sized. Good to know, and terrible to realize, because clearly I missed a whole lot. Anyway, I'm so incredibly excited for you that you have such an adorable little girl!!! I'm also glad you all had a nice Christmas and that you read a lot of books and saw more movies than I did (good for you!) but most of all I'm just blown away by how happily ensconced in family you appear to be. Yay!

That happens to me too! Facebook hides people and then when I finally go check on them I'm like wow, they had a baby! Anyway welcome back. Our little girl is in fact awesome :D :D :D I hope you're well! Are you updating anywhere?
