I slightly regret not starting a birding blog last year when I started birding, but do I really have time for another blog? One full of blurry pictures of barely identifiable birds? Probably not

Thrushes are so tricky. In my eight years or so of birding, I've never managed a good photo. From my experience, they are incredibly skittish. Usually I see them as they fly, startled, away from me, just a few feet ahead of me on some path, where I had failed to notice them.

Eight years of birding! YAY! I didn't know that about thrushes, so that's a good tip. Half the birds I see are seen flying away from me on a path. I feel ya :)
