Tightly clutching the Piemaker's hand, Charlotte Charles knew that there was nothing more in the world that she could ask for to make this day and any other better. Butterflies fluttering in her stomach and a smile spread across her face, she pushed open door after door until they arrived at the one they were looking for.

Pausing in front of the closed IPD door, she gave his hand another squeeze and looked up at him. "Ready? It's now or never," she asked.

"Not never," Ned said, but he was nodding along, a smile on his face the match of Chuck's. "I like to think this would have happened eventually, we've just...speeded up the process."

Over-thinking had always been one of Ned's worst enemies, however, and he made himself open the door and walk in before he could do anything of the sort.

Pulling Ned's hand close to her side as she walked into the room, Chuck felt her feelings welling up inside her as if she was going to burst and spread all over the office. It was a messy sort of experience and not one she wanted to act up but it was one that she never wanted to let go of.

"Hello? Is there someone here who could help us?"

Keith looked up from the paperwork to spy the pair he couldn't help but think of as the Corpse Enthusiasts.

They'd just seemed so pleased by it.

"That depends," he said. He put the paperwork to one side. "What's up?"

They seemed cheerful. He hoped it wasn't another body.
