::It wasn't that Kukaku hated Valentine's Day. She rather liked the concept and felt that if she had someone in her life like that she would probably enjoy it. (Any excuse to go over the top about something.)

But the holiday constantly reminded her of the people that she did love and that she couldn't love them the way this holiday wanted her to for one reason or another. (Such horrible stupid reasons... It was all society's fault really. Not hers. No certainly not hers.)

So there she was in the hallway again, with a bottle of something alcoholic she'd stolen from the sports bar int he airport days ago, among her work though letting it sit for now, drinking and trying to move past the lingering feeling that damned holiday left on her.::

::She's actually a couple of seconds slow to respond. Alcohol and a lot of thinking can do that to a woman. She finally does turn her head to look up at him, setting her glass down. She looked between his face and the card, not really sure if she was supposed to take it. finally she slowly, carefully (so that she didn't miss), reached up and took it from him.::

...'s this?
