Improving the White Level

Aaaaw, my cam has some predefined White Level settings. When I use the one for cloudy outdoor pics, it gets a little better. I am still disappointed, though.

I don't understand white balance. I use the 'auto' setting with marco and no flash.

Thanks Liz, I have also tried that, but the colors seem to be washed out when I use Auto settings. I have googled a bit and unfortunately it seems to be a common thing with that camera. Gnah.

Wow, thanks for that! I understand what you say and I will try tomorrow for now it's really cloudy over here at last (!) Muacks, i really appreciate it because I was feeling like going crazy about that crappy white balance.

I have a histogram graph and I will try it out tomorrow.
