DKSLSDLASLJADA!!! Hahaha, so cute, but it's partially because that cat looks vaguely startled and perturbed by the situation XD Also, are you taking care of Taco? How's (s)he doin?
She's fine! Boosting up the ac now keeps the temps around 70 - 80 on the cool side, and 75 - 85 on the warm side. Oddly enough the temps aren't that different from each other, mostly like 5 degrees or something :P. Today I fed her again, she's a good eater! Now, reading on cornsnakes, they say that the underheat mat thing is almost like a secondary source and that a ceramic heater (or infrared?) are sometimes used as primaries. Does that sound right to you? Obviously it is a bit too warm now (summer, duh!) for any of that stuff, but when it starts to get colder...
Anyway, it is late, and if I stay on here I'll start pounding you with 1003448347394343 questions, and that really won't do! TTYS!
Ahh, well, in nature snakes usually bask when they need heat, but in captivity the underheat mat should be all they need. Not sure about that ceramic heater / infrared thing! Some people use light bulbs for heat, which is probably a bit more "natural" but also a lot more inefficient. Snakes seem to do fine with just a heat mat!
A 5-10 degree temp difference is all the mat needs to make!
Hey! I have another question about Taco. If she is hungry enough could I feed her 2 pinkies? I already did once OO;;. Btw she shedded for the first time! Very good shed, too, no parts or anything.
