[It's lunchtime and Konan is busy putting away a couple things before leaving to find some lunch. A smile on her face, she is humming the notes of a random pop song she heard on the radio. Work is good, her greenhouse plants have survived and summer is just around the corner, life is good

[Temari doesn't go to the library often, simply because she has no time to read. However, for once, she'd borrowed a book to use as a reference for one of her subjects. Unfortunately, she'd thought it'd be a good idea to read it whilst cooking dinner and yelling at her brother, and she'd never been particularly good at cooking in the first place.

As a result, she'd gotten interestingly coloured food stains on the cover, plus a lot of water damage when the boiling water spilled all over the book. She was not looking forward to telling Konan-sensei.

So she walks into the library less confidently than usual. When Temari doesn't see her at her desk, she is tempted to just leave the book there. But she's sure that the librarian would find out anyway, and her conscience would throw a tantrum. So, she frowns and looks around.]

Konan-sensei?

[putting down the papers she was sorting, she looks up with a smile]

Yes, Temari? [smiles]

[She bites her lip and shows her the ruined book.]

Uhh.. I accidentally dropped this into some food. And then spilt water all over it?

... [takes a look at the book, taking it from Temari's hand before smiling at her]

That is quite alright, Temari. It was just an accident, and I appreciate you coming to tell me about it. I shall get it replaced, and I wont charge for it. Okay?

[ Hashirama has stopped by to return a book he'd borrowed a few days ago. For once, it isn't a book related to any major, or under-appreciated, historical event. Neither is it any sappy romance or some ridiculous sci-fi book. This happens to be one of Dr. Brennan's extremely successful forensic novels 8D ]

[ When she isn't at her desk, he quietly peeps into every aisle. When he finally finds her in one particular corner, he quietly walks up behind her and puts his arms around her waist, book in one hand. ]

[ rests his chin in the crook of her neck ]

Hey~

Oh! [A little startled at first, she quickly relaxes again as she realizes who it is]

Hello to you too, Hashirama-sensei~ [she turns around, giving him a smile as she leans in for sneaky kiss, since they are alone]

[Looking down at the book he has in his hand] Oh.. was it good? I have heard a lot of good things about it..

[ Kisses her back and then grins~ ] It was fantastic! I thought it would just be full of scientific detail, but.... [ griiiiin ] Why is this book in a school library, Konan? I'm not saying it's bad, but... Some of the pages on here are well... very interesting~

[Tenten steps into the library, unsure of her self. Not that she doesn't read - okay, she doesn't really read. Except weapon magazines. She didn't really feel like sitting in the school cafeteria. Her parents' had given her a lecture this morning - "sweetheart, you should really take this cake making class with your mother. It's much more feminine than those weapons" - so she had rushed out the door. Turns out she left to early to make lunch and forgot to grab money. So, here she is, in the library.]

[Spotting Konan-sensei, she smiles.] Hey Konan-sensei!

Oh, hello Tenten! [smiles] And how are you this morning?

[Tenten smiles back.] I'm fine, just decided to hang out here during lunch.

Oh, why is that? Did you eat your lunch already?
