Election

Settling in to watch the election -

expecting to be vastly dissapointed -

not liking the exit polls -

considering prayer and bourbon -

( as an aside anyone who voted for people like me to be kicked out - please get off my friends list)

So far, I don't think anyone is anything but disappointed at what's going on in this election.

When David Dimbleby says 'it's a rum job', you know that things have gone thoroughly pear-shaped.

the regional variances are what are scaring me.

The potential of a possible conservative government without any real representation in Scotland just makes me depressed about our democratic processes.

Scotland and Wales - and the nationalist parties thereof - are usually fairly socialist, so it wouldn't be a huge surprise if that happened.

And there's a lot to be depressed about in the democractic processes at the moment, it seems.

t'is true. The welsh upbringing in me gets a bit pained at times like these.

I'm just looking at the voting numbers and the disproportionate effect it has upon the national picture.

So yes - currently not a happy looking picture.

weirdly i am hoping the conservatives get a seat or two in Scotland though - just so that the humour of the situation is not purely black.

I'm out of touch with the UK election. What's this about "voted for people like me to be kicked out"? Some party came out with a policy against dark brooding people?

just the usual BNP crap - admittedly they would give me 50k to leave the country as a first generation immigrant>

Personally though i think i'd rather stay.

It's worth pointing out that, if under some horrific travesty of societies intelligence they DID get in.... I'd WANT to leave the country, and I'd be grateful for the 50k to do so!

Ah. Yeah, I sort of write off the BNP as the lunatic fringe. Although I hear the fringe has been growing lately.

God knows what they'd say about Johnny Foreigners like me! Kick us out as well!
