Thankyou!! Also I will definitely pass on the message, in fact she will be the recipient of many stern instructions to keep in touch I think.

I have used a *lot* of dettol on the floor and it is now much more pleasant, if only I could bleach my memory, that would be nice!

I could never love americans more than you! :P (so you should never become american, or I shall be very confused about who to love more!) I'm just going to inspect them for a year, then I shall return! And I'm still trying to ignore the actually-having-to-leave-sometime bit of it as I don't want to spend the next two months an emotional wreck, but it's getting harder and harder, especially as I booked my flight yesterday...

What happened with Ruth (assuming this is our Ruth?)? Has she been able to sort something out?

Good! I will endevour not to become an american, although I will have to resist these strange urges to spell things funny and start saying y'all. It's gonna be tough...

No being an emotional wreck though! Not allowed. y'hear?

Ruth got a 2.2, and she needed a 2.1 to get onto the masters course :( She was seeing her tutor friday though to see if she could sort it out or not, and I don't know what the outcome was.

And right, emotional wrecks = bad. :( (I am currently consoling myself by looking at laptops, while sobbing into my keyboard...)
