Ahh, how's work been going?? But wow, the non-disclosure sounds exciting! I've got this image of you sneaking around motorola undercover in a hat and trenchcoat, detective-stylee. I'm sure you totally wouldn't stand out in that and all... And you should totally take out a patent, whatever you're doing! You could persuade the other people involved that they *really* don't want a patent, and then get it under your name! I feel a plan coming on...

Ahhh, tis ok, alas no hat and trenchcoat, although since it's been raining full tilt for *days* now I have been getting lots of use from my coat! Today two of the other students were outside at the outdoor lab we have (oh yeah, we're cool) and it started tipping it down with rain and the door had autolocked behind them! Much laughing at their expense was had :)

How's the embassy stuff going? What classes have you signed up for? I meant to ask you this in a comment to your post earlier, but I forgot.

I really want a patent now...

Yeah, I think this is a time to be grateful that you live on a hill! And ooh, an outdoor lab? What kinda stuff do people do in it?

Embassy stuff is progressing, and my existence has been acknowledged! Still waiting for the form I need, but they've definitely got the form I submitted to enable them to generate the form needed to make an appointment. Yes. All rather confusing!

And classes - so far the fall semester: environmental science, toxicology, gemology, marine geobiology. In phase two I can then sign up for more, and I'm hoping to get nuclear chemistry and bonding & crystallography. (I figured I really should do some actual chemistry...) Not too shabby! There's loads of cool stuff I want for spring semester too, but I think I sign up for those in October. :)

Well it's good they know you exist! Those courses sound awesome though, toxicology is poison right? Becuase you seem to be quite interested in poison recently.. should we be worried?

Noone really does much in the outdoor lab, it's pretty much just a solar panel and a wind turbine and some computers. Paul and Andy (other students) did get locked out there the other day though, just when it started to rain! They had to make pitiful faces at the window til Sara let them in :)

ps I saw this icon and thought of you!
