I am so completely upset right now. I just got off the phone with a friend from work and she is telling me now that Michelle is telling everyone, staff, parents whoever, that I left by my choice. I am pretty sure Michelle was speaking English when she told me to leave and never come back. I may be mistaken, but that was her choice, not mine.

It sounds like the new place you are going to work for will be better for you. Michelle, may work for the company, but she doesn't have a say over you. It won't be your problem any more because she won't be your boss. Furthermore, you were going to leave on your own free will. However, I think its better she isn't telling people she fired you because then a different story might come up. Do you really want people to know that you called her a bitch? The parents probably wouldn't like that, and it would make you look bad because the situation is one that needs to be explained to be understood in the right context. Seriously, try out the new place. You may find that you like it there.
