I've noticed a similarity before between Chinese Shang Dynasty (c. 16th-11th century BC) art and pre-Columbian art from Central and South America. Since such trans-Pacific contact has been theorized before, I think this is kind of interesting. I dug up some examples to get your take:

Wonderful! I was just working on a comic series where the characters visit a Mesoamerican themed hotel, and drawing a corridor of Quetzalcoatl heads when I stumbled across your entry. Cool!

Wow! You're really onto something! The interlace is nearly identical, there are jade masks that match that Chinese one you posted, there are Quetzalcoatl heads that resemble the Chinese ones you showed...
