What an awesome game.

I'm not much of a football fan and I don't really follow football but I do try to make it a point to watch the superbowl if only for the commercials.  This year was the first (and likely to be the only) year that I actually watched it outside of the country.

I'll be going to a nearby sports bar at freaking 10am on Monday morning to drink (a few) beers and watch the superbowl.

One crappy thing about my job location here is that they restrict instant messaging at the local firewall.  Fortunately I can VPN into our company's network and use IM that way but can I do when I need to access a local resource on the network?

So my journey to Australia took me via San Francisco to Sydney. The flight over to San Francisco while long (4.75 hours), was fairly uneventful. The nice thing about Boeing 767's (as I've found out) is that the economy seats are actually fairly roomy.
