Heh. Is that really true at all?

I don't really know much about Korean culture. It'd be cool to hear about it.

Yes. Korea is still very sexually discriminative. It's sooooo bad, like the 70's in the US. Assertive women are very frown upon.

Hahahaha. You know what to expect from me next time Sammi, don't you.. *laughs evilly*
But you know, there are a lot of women in Korea who are perfectly content with the gender roles there, and think it is the natural way.... urggghhhh....

Whoa, sorry man. I guess I did give a non-statistical reply based on my own experience. But what I wrote is based on my own experience. And since I am a radical feminist, I am very sensitive to even the smallest hints of sexual discrimination. And the truth is, if Bloomington can be generalized to America, then I have felt that America is a much more gender-equalized country than Korea, and we have a lot to go through.
Ok, everybody, how about this - after I go back to Korea, I'll jot down all (or most of) the instances that make me think that Korea still has a long way to go. Then everybody can decide on their own. ;)
