I'm sorry Brenda. people are so insensative. I feel like people are so ignorant when it comes to mental illness. You should really talk to her and make her understand that she is hurting you and that all you want is her support, because she's supposed to be your friend.

I hope things get better.

I pretty much know what you're going through since I was on anti-depressants for a good 2-3 years... and all I can say is this:

Need me to kick her ass for you? :)

Seriously though, that's really shitty and insensitive. I know you already know this, but sometimes it helps to hear from someone else. You haven't done anything wrong, or done anything to deserve it. Sometimes shit just happens, and shitty people come along and make it worse.

I'm here for you if you need to talk!

DEFINITELY talk to her about it. The worst thing to do is keep everything bottled up, because you'll end up losing each other as friends and it's doubtful either one of you really wants that (no matter how annoyed and hurt you are right now).

So my advice is confront her, rationally, tell her what's going on, and make sure she understands that it's a sensitive subject and that you would appreciate it if she tried to consider your feelings especially in public. Roommate problems suck. :(
