today has been very satisfying. i rode my bike to the farmer's market. picked up local asparagus, mixed radishes, tasty pastry, and two different kinds of mint plants. i will be a tea making fool. traveled out to my favorite aunt puddy's (no real relation) and picked a whole giant garbage bag of rhubarb and cut two huge bunches of lilac. i ( Read more... )

I spun my own yarn for an art project once, I had a drop spindle. It was really amazing, and satisfying. I highly recommend it!

it looks/sounds like meditation.

i was just slobbering over beautiful had spun and dyed wool at the farmers market - but it was like 28-65 dollars. bastards and their elitist expensive wool.

i might be able to get it this weekend. i will be helping rachel saturday and that is super close to your not house right?

if i had a car i would actually dig that plant out and move it to my house in the ham.
