SET TO RELEASE TOUR [Bull & Bush: March 2nd]
First up was an acoustic set from the .hinge merch girl, Pina, who has a quite a good voice, which i wouldn't have expected. i really enjoyed her songs.
.hinge played lots of great songs, starting with "Cut the chord" and ending with "Boy", with awesome stuff like "Wave", "Adore", "We might just kill you" and "Stylus" in between. Awesome. This is one of my absolute favourite bands at the moment. Better than cog!
Self (now "Self is a Seed") were awesome. it's been a fairly long while since i've seen them live. So many people were singing a long to "Smoke" that Dave was able to let the crowd sing a section by ourselves. All the songs off the EP had that kind of effect. It was good to hear songs like "Kill the Family" (Vote 1?) that i'd hadn't heard since i'd seen them live last year. Awesome gig. Awesome. Awesome. i've been overusing that word so much i may as well overuse it properly. Awesome awesomeness from an utterly awesome band with awesome songs. Awesome music. AWESOME!
