Aurella was raw and emotional. Like Tori Amos singing with Kurt Cobain guitar playing.


GRAND reminded me of Depeche Mode, but with female vocals. The singer almost looked like a 13 year old anime girl playing one of those korean dance games, despite being a much older caucasian woman. In my opinion, this band was alright and quite enjoyable.

THE HYBERNATORS from Melbourne. Songs of "Footy" and references to Victorian landmarks might lose some of their humour value here in Sydney, but they were still amusing. The lead singer looked like a street fighter character cross with Duke Nukem or something.
