THE CHECKERED STRIPES were absolutely terrible. One of the worst bands i've seen. They had the audacity to cover a song by The Killers and not in a joking way or in an attempt to imrove it. How can anyone stoop so low? More to the point, how can people enjoy seeing that? The crowd they gathered was also completely mysterious to me and whose bad taste in clothes matched their bad taste in music. The Stripes, didn't play in time, the vocals were bad, their name sucks, they're music was boring. Why the hell were people screaming and jumping around to that? Also, every other band on the night used the same drum-kit, that of Jack Nastyface. Except for this band, which made the others dismantle said drum-kit to replace with their own, so that Jack Nasty Face had to reassemble theirs again afterwards. This caused some issues...
in case you want to check out their poorly executed unoriginal music, go to http://www.myspace.com/thecheckeredstripes

Which were amusingly addressed by Jack NastyFace, who had a few nasty things to say. And rightfully so. They put on a fury fueled performance from it, so it did have an upside.
