The Rocketsmiths / Luke Escombe (TheHopetoun/Excelsior, 12/02/07)
Went to the Hopetoun Hotel and saw The Rocketsmiths (from Queensland).
but once they finished, my legs ached for a walk and they great thing about free gigs on a Sunday in Surry Hills, is that you can walk from one venue to another and it's just like going from stage to stage at a festival ...and it's like that every week.
So next i went to The Excelsior and caught Luke Escombe / The Locals. Absolutely amazed by their talent, quirk and humour.
