 My aim, particularly in conversation, is to get people to realize that there is a sort of reverse thought to every thought.  There is always some sort of counterbalance with each new lesson learned, each new opinion formed, each new judgement made, and what have you.  Certainly this forces a lot of questions to the forefront of one's consciousness ( Read more... )

I like the idea of reverse thought in conversation with you.
I think I have a habit of putting ideas like that into my conversations with others but I think it doesnt come out as well. I'm working on it.

Actually, I've always felt that your intelligence shines through whatever quirkiness you have, which, in my opinion, sounds pretty good. Smart AND fun, so, best of both worlds.

Just watch that people don't start thinking you're arguing to be argumentative. I think I get that a lot, but I'm not sure. Someone has to play devil's advocate in most situations, so to speak.

thats good to know. sometimes i feel like i dont come off as very intelligent. but I know who I am so i dont really worry about it. and you just reminded me of jeff. He used to be the biggest dick ever about being devil's advocate to the point he knew he was really irritating me and he would keep going with it. ugh
