A veritable Palimpsest (warning: word probably not used correctly) of tribulations!

Thought I'd leave a Real Manly Comment on yr Actual Blog for once. Main Point: Real nice to see You posting again. And super-belated HB to ye.

Personal favourites or Your Voice for This Post:
1. "SLOW TOUR OF HELL"; (will probably steal that one)
2. Hecate
3. Rough day in the world of sports

Sounds like a real hell on earth, but that You are also handling it better than any average human could ever be expected. Superior!

haha, thank you, sir. I do miss our smoke breaks at the lieberry. Sorry about my response time on these. I have this journal connected to an email that I never check, and I often forget I even have the journal itself. It is perhaps a testament to how much less focused I have become on my writing, an error I am moving to correct this year.

I know what you're saying!
And I am kind of a dick too sometimes but really I am just trying to do my job! Its not bein g a prick its making sure everyone knows who is calling the ultimate shots & if they do forget that its when shit's going down. I feel like recently a lot of my employees have been seeing me more as a friend & so the place has been to laid back. But its so hard when I can only do half my time because I have 2 stores

See, I maintained a certain level of distance from everyone there from day one, so I don't think it's so much as them seeing me as a friend. More like an equal. Which is fine. I like this idea, but some people take advantage of that.

thanks tommy! and sorry I fired you ;)

It's a different world in the restaurant, though. Often overwhelming, being in charge of that many people at once while trying to make everyone happy. Ugh.

I'm glad I never ended up going into management at my face-to-face customer service based jobs. The money makes it so enticing but it just seems to have few rewards outside of the it.

yeah, the only thing keeping me from just busting myself back to a full time server is the money and hours. Blah.
