In the US military, there are a ton of ranks. To explain them in simple layman terms for the average civilian (because believe me, it can get pretty complex and technical), the ranks can be split into two groups: officers and enlisted.

The officers are like the managers, directors, VPs, and CEOs.

The enlisted are the worker bees.

Even from the get-go of 2024, I knew it would be a busy year.

At work, we have a big surveillance audit coming up in the summer. And that takes a lot of time to prepare for. In addition to that, my boss wants me to take 3 classes. Sure, they're good for my development and I'm thankful. But these classes are no walk-in-the-park, I don't think.

In May to Jun 2022, I was in Singapore crashing at my sister's fam's place.

I forgot how this topic came about, but I was talking to my sis and her hubby about dating. In particular, how women in America cares a lot about how much $ guys make and how that's a point of attraction. Both my sis and her hubby said, "Well, that's women everywhere."

Way back in Feb 2015, I was volunteering as a First Responder at the Tet Festival in Santa Clara Fairgrounds. It was on a Sat.... a long 12 hour day, but fun!

When I was still an active volunteer for the American Red Cross, I took their offered Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) class once every few years. I pretty much knew the material, and it was a class I enjoyed.
