this tutorial will only be visible for a few days. it will be in a members-only lock on sunday.
1. prepare your base. sharpen if needed.
2. duplicate your base thrice, set the first two to screen and the last to soft light.
3. add a new layer. fill with 031061. set this to exclusion 50%
4. add a new layer. fill with 80a2df. set to color burn 100%
5. add a new layer. fill with ffd180. set to multiply 20%
6. add a new color balance layer. LAYER > NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER > COLOR BALANCE
match your settings to mine:
midtones: -100, -46, 8
shadows: 35, 17, 55
highlights: 0, 0, 8
uncheck preserve luminance
you get this:
7. add a new hue/saturation layer. LAYER > NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER > HUE/SATURATION
master: saturation only: +30 (or depending on your image)
flatten. and you'll get this:
