If you were an asshole like that, you wouldn't still be on my friends list anyway.
If I'm an asshole like that, I trust that at least 4 of you would tell me to STFU.

also? if you comment to facebook with some kind of superior sniff about how american literature, other than 2 20th century black women, doesn't have anything to offer, i will most certainly call you an asshole for that gross generalization.

Dude, my name is Aimee' (yes, really) but I spell it without the accent and have the decency to be called Aim-E (you know, the A-M-Y way). Sounds like she spent too damn long in school. Makes you think you're all smart and shit when really nobody wants to hear about constructions of bullshit.

right? and again i point out that these comments she is making are to her coworker's statuses- a coworker who is perfectly aware of her degrees and her "specialties" and whateverthefuck. so to whom is she speaking? presumably me, since she's basically addressing the friends of friends who are forced to receive this bullshit posturing in our inboxes because we commented on the thread.

in a related note, everyone will be very happy when i am no longer pregnant and irrationally bothered by this kind of thing.

5 months after this comment, i have to tell you something someone said to me last week. the accent? she called it, wait for it, a "high comma."

as in, "I spell my name Brittanie' with a high comma."

for real.
