i love livejournal for personal history and all, and i imagine it'd take the site actually shutting down for me to leave altogether, but i've just realized that i haven't checked my friends list in 3 weeks. 3. weeks. guys, i've been here 10 and a half years, and i haven't gone that long without checking ever, even when i was without internet access

I had to make a stink with a co-mod on TMBG community because some 'election' happened and I was ousted as creator/owner.

She relented and gave it back. But yeah, I dunno what I'm fighting for.

Maybe I'll turn google+ into my mad, sad song for the day hooplah

I think I've been fairly consistent with updating since I started my LiveJournal in 2004. I'm a little cross-eyed lately, as I am trying to blog the past and the present at the same time (as I continue to cover our June travels). Perhaps after it all settles out, I'll backdate the vacation entries to the times they actually happened.

The Russian government sucks balls, and not in a good way.

I won't bother with Google+, because in a year or two it's just going to get superseded by something else, and I'm waiting for whatever that is instead.
