Natsume Yuujin-chou 10
Oh man, I really do love this anime. This little moment between Natsume and Tanuma made me squee. ^__^

So, in this episode, a female spirit occupies Natsume's body temporarily, as she needs his help to play the koto (a musical instrument) later in the episode. Need to watch subs to get the real story.
Somehow, during the day, Natsume kept manifesting certain traits of her. Waking up with his hair temporarily blue in color (hers is blue), then saying "Ohayou" to his classmate in a totally girly voice. XD
But this scene takes the cake.
Here Tanuma meets Natsume along the stairway and returns a book (I think it's a book) that he'd borrowed from Natsume. He thanks Natsume for helping him and is quite touchy-feely and pretty much invades Natsume's personal space. Gotta love their friendship. :3
But Natsume is strangely aloof and distracted and even drops the book on the floor as he walks off in a daze.
Tanuma is puzzled at Natsume's weird behaviour.
O_O Suddenly, shoujo bubbles appear and Natsume becomes the image of a pretty girl with long hair.
And his soft, girlish giggle. Oh wow, Natsume...I knew you were a pretty boy, but this shows that you'll make a beautiful girl too.
Blushing Tanuma is struck speechless and smitten by the sparkling vision of loveliness before him. XD
Physical attraction, yes yes?
Oops, Natsume snaps out of his girly moment and hurriedly takes the book from Tanuma again, belatedly thanking him. Heh, I wonder if he was aware of the effect he had on his friend.
"Tanuma?" (Why are you staring me like that?) XD
Wonder if the random boy passing by also witnessed Natsume's kira-kira feminine transformation.
An embarrassed (and still blushing) Tanuma mumbles a hurried apology...not sure what he says, though I'm sure he says the word "onna" (girl). Probably to the effect of "I could have sworn I saw you as a girl for a moment. Excuse me." Want subs now.
He quickly beats a retreat and I think he falls down the stairs in his haste. XD
Pity there wasn't any further follow-up of Natsume's interaction with Tanuma after the female spirit leaves Natsume's body. I would have loved to see how Tanuma will act towards Natsume the next day.
Ah well, no complaints from me. \^_^/ Man, I want to read fics featuring the both of them now.
EDIT:
The book that Tanuma borrowed from Natsume. For a split second, I could have sworn I saw the title as "BL" at first. Ah well, wishful thinking. XD
