If yes, what type did you own? (Tamagotchi, Giga Pet, Nano Pet, Other: ____________) i know i definitely had a tamagotchi... and i had another at one point or another, but i can't remember if it was giga or nano.
How did you receive it? (Gift, Parents bought it, Bought it yourself, Other: _____________) the tamagotchi i got from my grandma
How long did you play with it? this was all too long ago... i can't remember. maybe a couple months?
Why did you stop playing with it? either the battery died, or it just stopped working properly. i distinctly remember throwing my tamagotchi across the room because i was so frustrated with it, and then i felt bad because my grandma spent like 20 bucks on the thing.
Do you think a new wave of Virtual Pets will ever become popular again? most likely, yes.

Do you think a new wave of Virtual Pets will ever become popular again? No. Reason being is that the entire franchise following the Virtual Pet industry was created in Japan, a culture and society in which 'fads' such as said toy come and go at an extremely fast rate, and are soon forgotten. However, theses fads trickle across the shores and land in places such as America, and become a fad with a smiliar fate.

How long did you play with it? i was actually going to start playing with one again.
Why did you stop playing with it? it got annoying & stupid. .... sadly.
