and then. an update. because I can.

Last night was weird. Not in a new and unique kind of way, either. More like...constant lameness when there could have been constant fun-ness.

Tried to mix a group of unmixable people. Then tried to ice skate. Like chhyeaaah. Who does that?

Yeah, exactly.

So we try to goof off in order to salvage some meaning for our being there - but to no avail. Alfie, Robert, Matt, and Andrew stop by to stare at us. They refused to skate because of an assortment of (pathetic) reasons. "Last time I almost broke my leg." or "I'm too poor." etc. So they...sat there...and looked cold...then left. Yeah, brilliant.

Best part of the skating was that I only paid $3 (for some unknown reason) and when Jessica toppled on top of me during our "grand finale" to our lovely pairs skating routine. But my skate ripped both her pants and her skin, so it really wasn't that amusing. Well...it wasn't for long.

Mleh.

So, when we all realized that skating was just not happening, we decide to head over to Christian's apartment for movies + baking cookies. That should = fun times, right?

But, it didn't.

We split into two teams. Team Alpha and team Beta. Team Alpha runs to walmart for cookie baking ingredients, team Beta went to Blockbuster. We rent Life of Brian. Go us.
To make a long and uninteresting story shorter...Jess and I were disgusted at some of the "content."

Ewwwwwwww. and more ewwwness, for good measure.

blah.

We drove home, full of energy that had been pent up all night. Laur, Jess, and I tried to climb the water tower. We couldn't. Tried to think of something to climb. We wanted to get up somwhere high. It was a beautiful night. Could think of nothing and nowhere. So we talked. And I sat and swiveled around in the swing.

I love those girls. A lot. They make it ALLLLLL worth it. Dangit.

Sure. <33
