Here's a glass of wine. Far better to insist the firm repair the doors at there own cost.
I love old homes, your apt sounds amazing. I stayed in something similar I think, some years go when I visited Vienna. Would love to see pics.

Oh, that is really annoying. There is no excuse for shoddy work. None whatsoever.

You'd better put signs on the doors explaining WHY they mustn't be opened.

The only thing I hate about moving is waiting on the movers to show. I am attempting to send some scotch to you but it keeps leaking out of the fibre optic line. ;)

Oh Maria! Wenn man bei den Handwerkern nicht daneben steht machen die lauter Scha***** das ist unglaublich.

Ich kennen niemanden, wo das funktioniert wenn man nicht wie der Cerberus herumknurrt ununterbrochen!

How awfully classic! *shakes fist at the lazy idiot*

When we moved into the Paris house (1860) I had to remove a dozen layers of painting/varnish from every hinge or bolt.
