So your willing to honor and acknowledge the birthday of a known rapist? Not just a rapist, but a man who is still a fugitive from the law. Good films or not, nothing can erase the fact that he pretty much took away all and any normality from a 14 year old girls life. Drugged her up, raped her, then ran from the law in order to avoid serving jail time. Yet you give the man props. Can't say i respect that. But to each his own. Maybe i'll go honor Bin Laden's b-day in honor of your blissful ignorance.

haha. I never said the man was a saint. I never said he was perfect. I seperate the art from teh artist. I honor his work. He's gone through messed up stuff, and he's done messed up stuff. I was just trying to show the fact that he's survived for 71 years after having evil done to him, and doing evil himself. I just thought it was interesting considering that most people dont live a life full of that much drama, and think their little problems are the end of the world. If Roman Polanski can get to 71, we all can.

If you knew me you'd know i dont take rape lightly, whatsoever, and i am not honoring a rapist. this aint a tribute.

If you knew me, you'd also kno i'm a nice guy and wouldve prefered that you left your name, so i can have someone to respond to, not some creepy person that reads other people's LJs, insults them in their comment, and doesnt have the decency (courage maybe) to leave their name.
