I'll admit that for a long time, I always sort of laughed at the idea of the Flash. His bad guys were mostly jokes, there were like a metric ton of Flashes and their superpower was just being really fast? I'd never really thought the concept through, but what I knew from popular consciousness sounded pretty silly.

And then I saw that. And hoo boy, there was nothing they'd done in the series before that point (and they'd done some really cool things) that even remotely reached that level of badass for me. And I just love the look on Luther's face as one of the smartest guys ever realizes exactly what is going on and exactly how screwed he is.

Thank you for reminding me of this. I think I know what to watch during dinner tonight now :)

Flash's rogues are jokes as a defense mechanism, I think. I mean, they can be just as dangerous as anyone else when they want to be, but by virtue of who they're dealing with, they are much better served by seeming a little ridiculous.

#5: I was simultaneously cringing and going BRILLIANT! Spine stuff makes me squeamish. XD

Would "Top LOL moments in anything" be too generic? XD Or maybe Top "Did that just happen/did they just say what I think they said moments"?

What no, not at all. I mean I don't read many comics these days because both Marvel and DC are riding the terrible train, but I am biiiig on Super Heros.

Forget Batman, he out-awesomed every goddamned hero int he DC universe. And pretty much everyone at Marvel who isn't Nova, too.
