My mouse is broken. I am currently operating my computer with a Gamecube controller. Yes, I have a laptop, and yes, it has a touchpad. But the sad part in all of this? I'm just more comfortable using the Nintendo controller. The even sadder part? It took me a grand total of two minutes to locate, download, and install a satisfactory piece of ( Read more... )

Bah! I'm just biding my time so you'll be unsuspecting when I destroy the universe and everything in it

Or maybe I just haven't quite mastered the whole "nuclear armageddon by gamecube hackjob" deal yet. It's a fine and delicate art, but I'll get it eventually!

Doesn't a mouse cost like a dollar? I'll even give you the dollar, only I can't go over there cause I'm still down with the death flu, but still...a dollar.

Haha oh, I got a Best Buy giftcard I've been hoarding from Christmas, so I shall indeed get a replacement mouse. It's just a matter of...it's cold out. It's raining. I've been up for 24 hours. Downloading software is just *easier* than braving the elements right now. That, and I wanna stay home and watch the Olympics, so I can see people in pastel spandex fall on their butts.

I am sorry to hear that you have joined the ranks of Those Smited By A Plague of Death though. It seems like somebody decided to spread ebola instead of holiday cheer this season.

Ahh yes, I haven't been outside in a while...cold and rainy sucks. I was watching Olympic curling this morning, i love that sport.

If I ever find out who gave me the flu, I'm going to send them a Big Box of AIDS for St. Patricks Day.

I just wish they had a version of Smash Brothers that could be played over the modem! I know somebody's jerry rigged Mario Kart Double Dash, but alas, I suck at that game, and would only succeed in getting my ass shamelessly roadkilled on the information super highway. Curses!

They have? :O I am in the dark, omfg. Being roadkill ain't so bad though, as I suck at it too yet love it all the same. I'm surprised Smash Bros hasn't been done though.. You're making me want to play it, damn you! You and your evil ways are corrupting my little innocent brains. XD

I didn't even know you could hook up a Gamecube controller to a computer. XD

Indeed you can! Thanks to the miracles of modern technology, they now make USB adaptors for Gamecube controllers, which is just a whole Pandora's Box of evil geeky goodness. The best part is, the adapter I have has a bright green light in it, and is also called "Happy Joy Box", which makes me snicker every time I think about. So wrong. But so right!

I'm tempted to buy a USB adapter just to see if it'll work with a Mac, too. XD Though unfortunately, my controller isn't a "Happy Joy Box", so it'd probably only be half the fun, anyway.

You're being missed in Slytherchat, by the way. ♥

Haha, the controller isn't the happy joy box! That's the adapter. And gaaaah, I miss Slytherchat too. -_- I've just been so swamped with all sorts of stuff lately, and right now, I'm going on about 30 hours of wakefulness and am therefore not in any condition to be seen in public. *flails* I was in there the other day! But no, dammit, it is not enough! I'm going through withdrawal, I think. -_-
