i like that you wrote this, because i'm actually kinda curious what people think of the situation too. and idk if this will sound offensive, but i've seen so many people on tumblr talking about it too much on the surface, i mean, yes it's their opinion and i respect that but, i feel like some people just don't get what's going on, and thus bash people for it, like the recent tv2xq banner photo post, there were a lot of comments attached to it which i didn't really agree with

haha yes! i wonder what fans feel, because most of what i'm seeing is just the surface, just the /general opinion/ of each sides. i absolutely agree. a lot of my discontent stemmed from tumblr actually, because i can't avoid what turns up on my dash. i didn't like the tv2xq banner, but that doesn't mean that i don't understand where these fans are coming from. but yeah, there were a lot of unnecessary hate stemmed from them. imho, most on tumblr, especially the prominent names, are ot5 stans. and sometimes their opinions are very forceful.

mm true. i heard that there's a lot of discontent and fanwars in korea too though. like the 'orion' and 'holyshinki' idea, haha. i think they forget who were the ones who paved the way for the boys enough to break into the international scene and thus gave us the privilege of knowing and loving them. this though, i agree so much

lol yes, i don't have a thing with them disagreeing with it but, to use malicious words and saying things like, gtfo, you don't deserve to be fan...it's cross the line :| because i don't think anyone deserves more to be a fan than they do.

i got into the fandom before the lawsuit so the transition was really crazy, honestly, at that time, i didn't think it'd come to this stage, i thought it was just a small problem and will be sorted out in a few months but hey, almost 2 years has passed ):

yeah :( and i got into the fandom after the lawsuit, so i don't understand how it was post-lawsuit but the news must have really hit hard. i still held onto the faith last year though, but come 2011, i realised that things have really escalated to such a point that there will never be a clean break after everything simmers to an end. and it'll be very difficult to go back to what it was before ):

i would so agree that what we are seeing of them is just a part of their true self. it might even be that what they are showing us is nothing of their true self. who knows except them and the people who work around them

hahha that's the exact thing that's been niggling in my mind for a long time. who knows how they're really like? who knows if who i fell in love with were their stage personalities, and not their real ones?

it is, it is :( just like we have chosen to give our love to them, others have the right to choose who they want to support. i agree with this so much. i don't understand why people like to hate, why people like to flame so much. in the end, all you get out of it are two very unhappy people. why do people like that?

haha i think most of my thoughts are stemmed from the fact that i'm disheartened to see such a magnificent and amazing fanclub be reduced to a fanclub that squabbles amongst themselves. what happened to the cassiopeia that used to flood stadiums and dominate the other groups? it's really disappointing and sad, really.

asgdfsdghl i am useless at replying but omg i basically agree with almost everything you've said (except the liverpool stuff because lol i fail i have no knowledge of soccer at all xD) but it's true. no one is the real victim and no one can be truly accused. deferto neminem. and they really are the best together ):

well all i can say is don't be in a hurry to grow up too quickly. it's all right if your actions are still a little immature because you're still young. and look on the bright side. there are loads of people who are older than you but are a lot less mature than you are, so cheer up! :D

ahaha i love them all, but yeah, i /am/ jaejoong biased as well. but honestly it's difficult not to feel anything after we're so emotionally attached and invested in this fandom. but aww bb, it's your choice if you want to quit, and i will understand. and yeah i agree, so much hurt will only lead to hate...and that's really sad. because we love them so much now. indeed it's hard :(
