Heh. Well, there's that random female servant. We only see a female servant once at the Schloss, ant that's at the beginning of Iron Klaus. Never again after that. The Major seems to surround himself with men even at home. ;-D

I'm going to stand by Edith. Poor thing, didn't know what she was getting into taking a job at the giant gothic castle on the hill. Actually, since I got this comment a little back story has been percolating ... maybe I'll post it at some point ;P

This is great! It captures the humor and feeling of the manga, while taking it to a new level for Klaus and Dorian. Some of the details are irresistibly funny from the Eroica point of view:
Klaus started doing push-ups.
One... two... idiot... four... five... fop... seven...

Although, I think mprice is correct about Klaus's father's military rank as stated in the manga, though it's mentioned so little that there may be wiggle room about what rank(s) he has held at times in the past.

It's still a wonderful story!

Thank you so much! I love the whimsy of the canon, and I'm glad you found a similar tone in this fic. And I knew I was going to make a mistake / employ some fanon characterizations and whatnot, so I'm not too worried about the rank business. Anyway, thanks for reading!
