Today we learned about doing approaches w/ and w/o radar. I spoke with the dean of JCC who is in charge of the Professional Piloting program that I am in this week as well. Today I helped sort out the photos for the Gates Chili Senior Video because they were desperate for help. We just had to make sure everyone was in the video and that no one person was in it too often.

Today I saw Hamlet at Geva. It was excellent. I didn't really like Kelli Fox's performance but the other actors were great.

Today in class we went over chapters 9 and 10 in our book. we also rated our teacher for JCC. I never know what to write for the journal.

Today was the Gates Men's Republican Pasta Dinner fund raiser. I helped out there serving food and working at the ticket table.

Today I went to WE-MO-CO to learn about the play Hamlet by Shakespeare. It is playing at Geva Theater and I will be seeing it next week. I learned about how they chose costume designs and how the director took artistic license with the show. The use red fabric symbolizes bloodshed or pain. This weekend I watched the Aviator with Leonardo Di Caprio. It was very good. I liked the acting in it. This was the first time that I have ever heard of the genius Howard Hughes. Today we focused on aircraft recognition. We were shown tons of airplane photos and the teacher pointed out the defining features of each one and told us which companies flew them.

Today I spent some time at the Air Traffic Control Tower for the Rochester International Airport. I was able to go because I'm a student pilot, where any other person wouldnt be allowed in.
