Hi everyone. My Achilles is totally ruptured. I get to have surgery. FML.

Ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nooooooooooooo ... I spent ages in a cast, a brace and in physical therapy cuz my achilles' tendon was messed up. My orthopedist told me about the surgery and I said "Um, not if I can help it." Did anyone mention platelet-rich plasma injection? Maybe yours is too far gone for that, but it's a new outpatient procedure that worked for me. Wouldn't hurt to ask.

Anyway, hope everything gets better soon! Enjoy the Vicodin.

Well, the muscle is up around the back of my calf and the tendon is bunched in my ankle, so surgery is a must. I never do anything half assed. :P
