the one where she comes back

...well, the short of it is we were on the road just now for an awfully long time... about 2 weeks to be exact, buzzing through new york state, enjoying an extended stay in vermont, then a short stop in penna before chilling with my sister and niece in NJ for a couple of days while my husband... :) yes, while my husband went all the way to ( Read more... )

Brattleboro has that effect on a lot of people. It is like a little, happy vortex, and I'm glad you loved it!

And I'm still grinning over having gotten to meet you and your fellas - best lunch hour in a while! :) I hope you get to return here some day.

(((hugs))) to you in dealing with mold and mildew and scary bugs! Yikes.

I can very much relate to that feeling of coming home to allergies and ickiness after being with friends and feeling so much more opened up. Very glad to hear that there's no stepping back, and that you feel a change approaching.

the very nice surprise is the change is in ME. so while all the mold and all is going on, there's another level happening too, and it's really nice!

Glad you're feeling strong--- although (sadly) you seem to be in a place that will require it at least you have a small trove to start with :-)

I just saw that Mr P didn't get the job - *hugs*. From a purely selfish point of view I was so hoping you would, because then we might actually meet! But of course I wish the best for you and yours. There's something out there for you, a better place to be, I'm sure. I hope it happens soon *more hugs*

I'm jealous and yaying at the same time about the fact that you got to meet the lovely heydaya. I commiserate about the mildew - we have a similar problem with the carpet in our living room, which doesn't smell too good. Unfortunately, it's only me that can smell it, apparently. I envy my husband's lack of nasal sensitivity.

yes, no doubt. i too had visions of our wee ones knocking over ancient stones at prehistoric burial places.... sigh.... i've still not given up on that, to be truthful! you just never know where life can take you. that's the adventure of a time like this!

mr. p also has a "lack of nasal sensitivity"-- his nose was broken 3 times!! so lucky us, huh.
