An Interesting End to the Summer

Sep 30, 2009 20:03

AT LONG LAST, the kid is having his first real nap in 5 days; the washpile is finally halfway through; there is no one about to chat and no mold for me to scrub.  Yes…. It must be the Wednesday after Mold Trauma Day!
(life takes an interesting turn...) )

Oh, YAY for the good stuff! I am so happy that you're in a good place now, deary. And I really hope that the VT thing works out (is it the place in Bratt?) both for you, and for my own selfish reasons. :)

With all the rain this year, I bet lots of people are having major mold issues, too. We've had some, but nothing too bad.

I think the idea of your house deciding that it's time for a change is a very poignant and lovely one, and makes perfect sense.

I'm glad it all seems to have worked out for the better (in the end...) - what a trauma! It does seem very poignant to think that the house was giving you a message (it could've been a bit less dramatic about it though, eh?). And I'm crossing my fingers and Good Wishing on the job that Mr P's applying for. I hope the wee man's settling in well to your new home, it must be all a bit bewildering!

Big hugs to you all.
