What's your definition of "Fundamentalist" and "fundamentalism"?

I hope I didn't offend ... I mean Christians who seem obsessed with following the letter of the law, taking every word of the Bible super-literally and frowning on others who don't interpret it the same way. I think sometimes, some Christians become too consumed with following the Bible exactly correctly and sort of miss the point. My opinion ... and a disclaimer: I was raised in a very fundamentalist church, so that influences my views.

It's all good, I have problems with "fundamentalist" churches, too. It's just that fundamentalism, in its true form, isn't bad...it's the way people twist it.
