Despite the many issues we had leading into opening night, it actually wasn't half bad, looking back. OK, so some parts of the show were just train wrecks, including the final transformation scene and some of my not-so-quick changes into costume. But people seemed to love it anyway. Thanks you guys for the advice on what to do to combat my cold/flu/whatever it was. After lots of sleep, lots of fluids and taking Airborne and vitamins, plus prayer and positive thinking (I tried it all!) I can report that I'm doing better now. My fever spiked to 101 yesterday, but now is down to 99, and I feel a lot more human. And ... I still ( Read more... )

I'm sick. I have a cold. My throat is sore. Isn't that FANTASTIC? We open in three days.

I'm staying home today and am not. talking. Fluids, all that stuff. Please GOD let me keep my voice!
