dude.. Here.. Get a canvas.. any one. Big is preferable. Take out some paints and various brush sizes. Start from the top and just smack down some paint. No end product in mind and start going at it. You don't have to finish it.. Just.. Set it aside when you feel like it and come back to it later if you ever feel like you have an art block, depressed, angry, or anything. It really helped the other day for me when I was feeling shitty. I just painted with random colors, used different brushes, used my fingers, and the ends of the brush handles to just.. get that shitty feeling out of me.
I'm not really much of a painter.. And it's really hard for me to just start drawing out of nowhere without concentrating on what the end result will be so painting randomly really helps me get loose.
