Meaning of our Lives in our Tattoos

For those who may not know, I currently have two tattoos. One on each forearm. These were inked at separate times. So when people say that they are addicting, I agree. Despite the pain associated with them (it's like a cat scratch over and over and over) I find myself looking for new ideas and new places to put them

i have the date of birth of my sister, who only lived for an hour under the swallow. i decided to do that cause in my house she isnt talked about, the graveyard at the cemetary she is in is unmarked. the pain is too much i think for my parents (understandable) i have wanted to know so much about her. my tattoo isnt obvious and i like that. swallows in tattoos represent pride. and in a small way having her on my arm brings her closer to us and she is acknowledged.....she is in our lives.
i wanted to write soooo much more about this, but i have better thoughts about this when im drunk.
