Man of the Year (2006)
About: A comedian who hosts a news satire program decides to run for president, and a computerized voting machine malfunction gets him elected.
My Thoughts: Plot wise this film was meh although if you're into politics it does point out a lot of flaws in the current political scene. I think the middle focused a bit too heavily of the conspiracy and the chasing her down etc. Did find it funny though because Robin Williams is awesome *-*

Ratatouille (2007)
About: Remy is a young rat in the French countryside who arrives in Paris, only to find out that his cooking idol is dead. When he makes an unusual alliance with a restaurant's new garbage boy, the culinary and personal adventures begin despite Remy's family's skepticism and the rat-hating world of humans.
My Thoughts: Quite enjoyed this film although didn't love it. Find it a bit disturbing that the guy can be controlled just by tugging on his hair. kinky Bet their new restaurant actually ended up being really popular, people would pay to say they've had good food cooked by a rat. At least quite a few would (not everyone). I would anyway.

Never Let Me Go (2010)
About: As children, Ruth, Kathy and Tommy, spend their childhood at a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. As they grow into young adults, they find that they have to come to terms with the strength of the love they feel for each other, while preparing themselves for the haunting reality that awaits them.
My Thoughts: I won't give this film a rating because I won't deny that the acting, filmography etc is fantastic but I was too distracted and disgusted at the basic idea behind this film. People, children, are made to be organ donors. To raise kids purely to treat them like some sort of organ bank is just too much. I spent the whole film in shock. My fault for not looking onto the plot before hand but seriously. It was too much for me. I can't get over that fact and for that reason I can't give it a rating. Film broke me.

Sleeping Beauty (1959)
About: A snubbed malevolent fairy casts a curse on a princess that only a prince can break, with the help of three good fairies.
My Thoughts: One of the worst things about old films is like a (voice) actor because they're most likely ancient or dead ;-; Anyhow sweet film, with some funny moments. One thing I love about it (aside from the art and voice talent) is the music. I love that they decided to use/ base it on the original scores. Best idea.

The Young Victoria (2009)
About: A dramatization of the turbulent first years of Queen Victoria's rule, and her enduring romance with Prince Albert.
My Thoughts: jfdkghjdfhg adorable Prince Albert is adorable! I want one (or 10) His brother isn't bad either ;D Other than Albert's awesomeness Victoria is pretty epic. She's a strong character who makes mistakes and although she struggles, she does her best. They are so in love it's ridiculous and I just wanna hug them. Unfortunately it does have a bit of a bittersweet ending which never fails to make me tear up but hey, history is history. The film, like many based on a true story, isn't 100% accurate but hey it's still awesome.

The Iron Giant (1999)
About: A boy makes friends with an innocent alien giant robot that a paranoid government agent wants to destroy.
My Thoughts: I adore this film and it's animation. I'm not even why I adore this film (other than the fuckin awesomeness that is Dean). I suppose it's something a bit difference, it's pretty much romance free and it makes you wanna cuddle a giant robot (although that may just be me).

Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001)
About: A young adventurer named Milo Thatch joins an intrepid group of explorers to find the mysterious lost continent of Atlantis.
My Thoughts: I think I love this film more when I gave it less thought because now I'm unsure as to whether I missed some details or maybe they were just never explained. Like why does Kida join with the crystal and just go along with being kidnapped? Why doesn't the crystal keep her like her Mom? How did anyone discover Atlantis pre subs? Why can't they read their own language any more if they have lived since the time when they could? Anywho still a lovely film and pretty to look at. Also pretty sure Milo is not so secretly Daniel from SG1.
