Cool Runnings (1993)
About: Based on the true story of the First Jamacian bobsled team trying to make it to the winter olympics.
My Thoughts: This film is one of my faves. It's hilarious, based on a true film and has just enough angst to make your heartbreak a bit. At least three of the main characters have a bit of stuff to work through during the film which provides a bit of side/back story without going off point. The film does start off pretty silly and seems like mainly a comedy till things get serious. By the end you'll find yourself having a lot of respect for these men. They didn't let anything hold them back.

My Thoughts: Can I just say being attracted to a man in a film made 10yrs before my birth is not something I enjoy but Harrison Ford hnngg.I'm not sure what these films are like now being viewed for the first time as I love these due to nostalgia of my childhood. I love them so hard though *-* Also quite like the female lead. She's boss.

My Thoughts: I'll try not to rant. I can't really remember much about the past films except sand and slow mo Megan Fox shots. This film. Omg how I hated it. It's sexist, it's boring and if the earth had imploded at the end of that film I wouldn't have given a fuck. The new chick is worse than Fox's character. She has zero chemistry with the main guy (Yeah I learnt no ones name). There were no female officers or pilots. Also no female Autobots. I would complain that the female lead was pretty useless but ALL of the humans were. Jeez. Only characters I liked were the Autobots. The action scene went on for far too long and I didn't care. I watched this film because I was bored but I found myself MORE bored watching it. I believe looks do matter a bit (because genetics) but wow the Mom saying he should stick withhis gf because she's his second and prob last pretty gf. Basically saying looks is ALL that matter. GREAT ADVICE. Small comment on the science of this film, you can't teleport a planet into Earth's atmosphere cause ya know, gravity and shiz. JUST SO YOU KNOW WRITERS OF THIS FILM! P.S. The name. Just what.

My Thoughts: I would prob have loved this film a lot more if it weren't for the screeching blonde. I heard about her breaking a nail far too much. I also refuse to believe a man like Indy would fall for someone so annoying but I suppose people do. Shorty was easily my favourite though. Hilarious, BAMF and the best side kick even if he is a kid. Wish he was around for the other films but OH WELL.

About: A 13 year old girl plays a game on her 13th birthday and wakes up the next day as a 30 year old woman.
My Thoughts: I adored the male lead since forever but I never realized it was Mark! hjskhfjdhfg I love him so hard. This film is pretty awesome if you don't give it too much thought. It's pretty hilarious too, as it's about a 13yr old in a 30yr olds body. I don't quite get what was so awesome about her magazine idea but then again I don't read anything outside of science and gaming mags. The ending was adorable though. So happy for Matt *-*

About: A college grad lands a job as a financial journalist in New York City to support where she nurtures her shopping addiction and falls for a wealthy entrepreneur.
My Thoughts: Hilarious and she's so awkward it's kind of a GPOY. You do spend most of it 'omg-ing at her shopping habits though' Only issue I have with the film is how popular her articles are. Not sure it would really work out that way, at least not that quickly but eh it's a film, it doesn't have to be 100% realistic.
