now we have our own internet!
a landline phone (for the first time in 4 years)!
and CABLE (for the first time in 7 months)!

of course, it's arabic cable. but there are a few "american" staples.

my life is complete.

my visit visa for dubai expires on saturday. after a quick trip to the immigration office I realized I couldn't pay to extend it again. I was told that I would have to leave the country and return with a new visit visa. so, our new furniture arrived today. only two of the most important (and largest) pieces came in the WRONG color. so, they don't get to stay. they have to go back to ikea.
