I should go find it. Blasting ships can be therapeutic. I will now totally embarrass myself & say this word out loud:

I also liked the one where you knocked down a wall. It had a name like Bombardment or something. The whole trick was to get the ball behind the wall so that it bounced, uh, from wall to wall & did all the work for you.

Donkey Kong was probably the death knell of my video game experience. It's like I died right before Super Mario Bros., who I guess still have some cred.

Still got my old blue plastic-shelled fold-up typewriter. Just can't part with it.

I miss Super NES :( I kicked ass at all of those games. After all of the techno advances, I lost interest.

Typewriter ribbons, and typewriters in general, can suck a donkey dick.

I just bought a Gateway 2000 SOLO laptop, from like 1996, for practically nothing as a backup. And I like it. If it went on the Internet worth a damn I would be tempted to chuck this HP piece of shit that keeps wanting to break down in favor of the workhorse solo. I fucking hate HP, I had a different laptop for four years and it was great, this one has been nothing but trouble since maybe five months after I brought it home. Newer, not necessarily better.

Also, I love rolodexes, if you want to get really low tech.

I LOVE ROLODEXES toooo. i was obsessed with them when i'd go to my dad's office as a kid and if you flip/spin them quickly you get a sort of wind on yr face!

sometimes older computers are just more hearty. i bet the gateway is so honored to be liked.
