No probs! There's tons of stuff, it's pretty amazing what they've managed to organize in a couple of days.

Fandom is actually kind of awesome? They get a bad rap because of the wank, but that really is such a tiny (super loud) slice of the fandom pie. One, they're organized and, two, they're enthusiastic. When they get their charity on, it can be pretty amazing.

And I like that Owl City song. But I'm notorious for not giving a crap about lyrics, as long as they don't contain misogyny or something. I've seen a lot of Owl City hate, though. You are not alone. (And *coughs* it's lightning.)

Seriously, it is, I'm kind of in awe. I would like the Owl City song if I didn't listen to the lyrics, but they really are laugh-out-loud funny sometimes. But no judgment, seeing as my musical tastes are mostly still stranded in the '90s.

I was stuck in the eighties for a loooong time (grunge and I did not get along, for one thing - probably my least favorite genre ever) but once the poppier alternative phase kicked in, everything was sunshiny bright. I've realized that a LOT of my favorite songs now are like the bastards of disco and eighties new wave. It's not my fault I still get excited when Poker Face kicks in! It's all because of when I was born!
