[Talia had been keeping herself busy aboard the Elegante with constant patrols, moving from one deck to the next. She had an unsettled feeling that things were going to kick in again and she felt it far better to stay on the lookout for anything .. off.

A task on a ship such as this, but an assignment she was planning on taking seriously.

She is midway through deck five when her communicator lights up to Kevas' voice. She chuckles softly as he complains about the liquor flavors, thumbing open her own comm as he speaks directly to her.]

You know .. I believe we had alcohol that was turnip based at the pubs on my world. Granted, I doubt that they tasted as much as turnips as you might be encountering .. I don;t think I've had a single meal taste quite the way I've expected since before the party..

Just patrolling on deck five, love .. Is everything alright?

[Talia, paranoid? Yeah, maybe a little .. but when DON'T things hit the fan here?]

[Talia cants a curious brow, but the smile never leaves her lips entirely. She found she quite looked forward to any communication with Kevas with the shipNET system.]

Well, if it's still alcoholic, it's really a matter of personal preference, isn't it? Mayhaps there are some hereabouts that enjoy the taste of turnips or beets when they indulge themselves?

[Her lilt is teasing, the smile apparent in her voice. Then she shakes her head, although it is not a visual feed.]

I wouldn't mind at all, Kevas.

[And she's already on her way as she finishes agreeing to join him. It would hardly be much of a push to get her to join him anywhere on the ship.

She arrives at Our House, stepping past the threshold with weapons in place before scanning the room quickly. Her expression both softens and brightens as she sights upon Kevas, shields easing as she caresses gently across his mind in greeting. No emotion reading here, lover, just happy ta see ya!]

Den dey can have all da turnip liquah dey want. T'ink I'll stick to vodka, or rum, or anytin' dat ain't be tastin' like turnips.

[Kevas doesn't respond to anything after that. He's much too busy keeping himself calm at the moment. His heart feels like it wants to shoot out of his chest again.

Once she gets there she'll find all the tables have been moved to the side with the exception of one at the very center of the restaurant. A meal for two of grilled fish and seasoned potatoes is set on the table. It's nothing too fancy but it's the best he could manage, although with the food tasting as strangely as it does how can he mess it up? There's a bottle of champagne sitting on the desk as well.

Food isn't the only thing set out. The light's have been dimmed and a few candles light the room. In the center of the table is a box in gift wrap. It looks like Kevas has gone all out on this.

Kevas himself is standing by the table and smiling at Talia. A nice shudder runs down his back from her mental greeting.]

Hey love.
